ABOUT THE CREATOR OF DREDEIR LAW

I, Dredeir, am an American lawyer with a legal practice that covers all aspects of creation. My practice includes legal entity formation, intellectual property, physical property, construction, design, and technology. I currently serve as General Counsel to Core States Group; a nationwide design-build firm. My professional associations include leadership roles in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and Construction Law Forum. I am also a member the Black Excellence Society, the world’s premiere black talent incubator community. Informed by my identities (black, gay, woman) often intersecting, my key legal insight and specialty focuses on the intersection of the multiple legal property rights and theories that combine during creation. Creativity impacts all aspects of the law; and thus so does my practice.

I started this blog after donating years of my free time to pro bono clients who asked the same questions and ran into the same problems. They were/are creators who are not versed in business law basics AND the high cost of legal advice was a barrier to growing their business. Thus Dredeirlaw.com was born. This blog is for all of the creators, business owners, and disruptors; especially those from consistently excluded communities. I hope you’ll find this blog informative and entertaining.

Dredeir Law also has a sister site Dredeir.com.
